Historic Christ Church

DesignTech was part of a Design/Build team for the installation of a new comprehensive HVAC system for the historic Christ Church Episcopal and the Parish House buildings. DesignTech scope of services included MEP design and project lead coordination for architectural, structural, civil and archaeological services.

During the design phase, a range of high efficiency and cost effective HVAC options were identified for Christ Church to consider and review. For each option, a life-cycle cost analysis as well as a schematic design was developed addressing some of the many priorities and challenges for the project.

Mechanical scope of work included a 110 ton chiller, six new air handling units, a new 110 ton cooling tower and 1300 MBH high efficiency boiler.
